                                    CURRENCY

The European union have their own currency which is accepted in all the EU countries. The currenccy is known as EURO.

Advantages of being an EU member.

  • As an EU member the cost of changing currencies will be eliminated for tourists or firms trading withing the Euro areas.
  • Due to the common currency it will be easier to compare prices of commodities in different European countries.

Disadvantages of being an EU member.

  •  Due to the free movement of labour and capital, most skilled workers are likely to move to a more developed area to take advantage of the better benefits and wages, thereby leaving some particular area deserted and undeveloped.
  • There will be difficulties in extending single currency given that their are large differences in their economies.
  • Independence will be lost in many areas.

Difference between education system in th Uk and in Nigeria.

Education system varies from one country to another, each country of the world adapts the system of education which suits them.this blog will focus on the diferencem between the education system in the Uk and in Nigeria.
Looking at education system in the Uk, education is compulsory for the age bracket of 5-16 years. It is also the age for entry and exit into the pre-higher education. The pre-higher education comprises of primary and secondary education. The primary education is often the combination of junior and infact school while usually last for 4years while secodary school often lasts a period of 5years in which General certificate of Secondary Education(GCSE) exam will be taken before entering into the higher education, so in the Uk pre-higher education is usually finished between the 16 and 18.  Euroeducation.net(2011).

Nevertheless the education system in Nigeria is closely thesame being that Nigeria adapted the British system of education.however some difference still arises when taken a close look, like in Nigeria it can be argued that there is no such thing as compulsory education.children strats primary school at the age of 5-6 which often lasts for a period of 6years before heading to secondary school which often covers a period of another 6years.

Inconclusion British system of education can be said to almost thesame with the system of education in Nigeria given tha Nigeria adapted the British system of education.

English are often used wrongly to generalize the people from britian, English is a person from England, Scotish is a person from Scotland while people from Wales and Northern Ireland are known as Welsh and Irish respectively. The Britian are so a multicultural society. Due to the combinations of many immigrants and many ethnic groups they terms to be diversed in cultural aspects.

Back to duty post.

After what seems like a long and endless weekend, monday surfaced his ever busy head again demanding attention and loads of work to be done, but as usual we we all grab the bull by the horn and tackle what ever is awaiting us this week smoothly. like the former world champion heavy weight boxer will always say ''float like a butterfly and sting like a bee''.
